What is The Social Good PRoject?

The Social Good PRoject is a service grant that provides one eligible nonprofit organization or certified B-Corp small business with four months of public relations support pro bono. 

Is my organization eligible?

In order to be considered for The Social Good PRoject award, your organization must be:
  • A nonprofit with less than 500,000 annual revenue OR certified B-Corp with less than 250,000 annual revenue. (Status and revenue will be verified during the selection process)
  • Priority given to applicants located in one of the following service areas, however we encourage all to apply:
    • New York
    • New Jersey
    • New England (Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island)
    • DMV area (Washington, D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia)
    • Pennsylvania
    • Mid-Atlantic (Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia)
    • Guilford & Mecklenburg counties and the Piedmont region of North Carolina
  •  New to TJM & Co. - cannot be a past or present client. 
  • Not a former grantee - organizations can only win once. Previous finalists are welcome to re-apply

What is the PRocess?

  • This is an annual grant, so there's a chance to win every year!
  • The application period is from May 16th to June 16th, 2024.
  • Each year, the winner will be announced on or around August 1st.
  • The service period will run from September 1st through December 20th
  • Once the awardee is chosen, the TJM & Co. team will work with them to develop and implement a PR plan. At the end of the service period, the awardee will have been provided with tools and strategies to support their continued brand management.
